Chuck Moody

Chuck Moody is Senior Vice President and has over 30 years of diverse commercial real estate experience in development, project marketing/leasing, and investment property sales and financing. He currently oversees the Public Properties Group of the Molasky Group of Companies and is responsible for the group’s overall business activities. His primary focus is the development of office buildings in the public sector. Mr. Moody’s past experience includes representation of domestic and international development companies, institutional property owners, and national tenants with assignments for marketing and leasing projects, build–to–suit development, acquisition and disposition of office buildings.

Before joining Molasky, he was Senior Vice President of Barry Real Estate Company with a focus on pursuing, winning, and developing office buildings leased to the federal government. Prior to Barry he was Senior Director of National Development for a publicly traded REIT. Mr. Moody’s responsibilities included overall direction of the Development Subsidiary. He has held senior executive level positions with Opus Corporation responsible for new business opportunities in the Southeast and Director of National Client Build to Suit Development. Prior to Opus he served as Senior Vice President with Cousins properties where he managed the Marketing & Leasing effort for this publicly traded REIT’S development projects. Prior to Cousins he was a brokerage vice president with Denver–based Frederick Ross Oncor International where he managed the office leasing division of the nationally recognized brokerage firm. Chuck’s Federal Government development experience includes over 1.75 million SF of office buildings leased to the GSA in 6 US markets. Chuck’s demonstrated experience and skills in the field of marketing and pre–leasing of high–rise trophy buildings has earned a leading reputation in the industry. He has completed lead anchor tenant leases with IBM, Bank of America, UPS Logistics, Prudential Insurance Company, Ernst & Young, MCI, Equifax, Mountain Bell, US West, Arco Oil, Petro Lewis Corporation and many large law firms. Chuck’s office building experience during his career exceeds 20 million SF.
